Back to School

Dear all delighted friends @PUC,

It is time to go back school. I know it is a very important day as it is another new step to higher up your year. However, it might be a very boring term for those who study more than five years for just a Bachelor Degree of Art (BA). Come on, move forward for your bright future!!!

This time in previous terms, I always in class with very strong commitment but I am not in class @PUC anymore for this term. I really miss my colleagues and friends, and my Paññasastra University of Cambodia, a university of hope and bright future given.
Anyway, please all friends go back to school with deterministic vision and visible mission. Please enjoy your whole summer term. Hopefully, I will be back to meet you all by next year.

Ask if You can do to your society!!!

At least, once in your life you can directly contribute your energy to help your society. Come on, I already did many things to community. However, this one is my biggest wish "I want change my society". In fact, by just pick up rubbishes on streets and road, it does not clean only streets and road but I made tremendously change to Cambodian society. I believe it could change behavior, attitude, and habit of groups of people who always throw garbage around. It would increase the awareness of preserving environment and keep our community as well as country clear and clean.
Personally, I really happy to devote my energy to help society. I hope I can make changes. Further, Cambodia is looking forward to see more and more people participate. Only participation make you yourself and your society develop faster and sustainably.

Ask Not What Your Country Can Do - John F. Kennedy - January 20th 1961

Let's start from all of you!!!

Do not mind me; let me help my society
This message is to making awareness of all

How to write an introduction?

Whatever you are writing—an essay, a report, an article, a thesis, a journal, a literature review, or any other piece of academic writing—the introduction will be the first thing the reader sees. If an introduction is poorly written or constructed, if it is boring, if it does not tell readers what they need to know, if it does not help readers to orient themselves to your paper—then you have lost your readers' goodwill right from the beginning, and can be sure of losing marks, no matter how well the rest of the assignment is constructed.
It’s essential, then, that you get the introduction right. This means that you must know what the introduction is supposed to do, what sorts of things must go into the introduction, how to write and structure the introduction properly, and how to interest your reader from the start.
An introduction should do the following:
  • alert a reader’s interest
  • indicate the scope and direction of the paper, and act as a navigation guide to its reading.
  • show the reader how you are interpreting and approaching the question
  • provide a context for the main issue
  • indicate the focus of the paper
  • indicate your conclusion and point of view

How to Write a Good Abstact?

Abstracts are important because they give a first impression of the document that follows, letting readers decide whether to continue reading and showing them what to look for if they do. Though some abstracts only list the contents of the document, the most useful abstracts tell the reader more. An abstract should represent as much as possible of the quantitative and qualitative information in the document, and also reflect its reasoning. Typically, an informative abstract answers these questions in about 100-250 words:
  • Why did you do this study or project?
  • What did you do, and how?
  • What did you find?
  • What do your findings mean?

Two Websites for IR students

Many IR students could not follow up with the world situation. They don't really know where to search for and what to be done...etc. Even sometime they do not know whether the sources they are holding in their both hands a reliable source or not. As I am also an IR student, I understand this difficulty. Fortunately, I attended the course "Cambodia and the World" lecturing by Dr. Bernd Chaefer, research expert at Woodrow Wilson C
entre, and also professor at George Washington University. He stayed in Cambodia for a while but he was back home since this Saturday morning. Very unfortunately for other IR students. Anyway, do not much worry. I also have something to share with you all.
It is not about food money sharing but websites sharing. Let's have a look the below the link for more detail about the sites. Both sites are very fruitful of information Europe, America, Asia, India, China, and ASEAN.

Some Models of Term Paper

I know that writing paper is a very big problem for non-native English learners, especially for PUC students. I am one of them who always meet these problems. However, I could still start my writing though it is not perfect or accurate but it is from my hard working.
I am very happy when I can produce such pages I never done before. As such, I want to share some of these ideas related to term paper including about the formation of paper and the other meaning of the text. Remember, "we don't know what we are going to write until we start writing."
